EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

CLOUDSTREET implemented the first ever integration between Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud and Avsight aviation software.  CLOUDSTREET has since completed several more similar projects with Salesforce and Avsight software.

A global aviation parts distributor, herein referred to as SeattleAV, based in Seattle Washington, USA, had previous challenges managing multiple systems for e-commerce and CRM needs, accommodating an existing system, and enabling bulk product orders.

The solution involved creating a custom Salesforce B2B Commerce Storefront fully integrated with Avsight with features such as custom reports, back order and quote capabilities, and syncing with the existing Avsight system. The benefits highlighted a 25% increase in ROI, streamlined data management, and real-time communication between the management software and Storefront. Custom-developed features like bulk orders and custom product displays were also emphasized.

The challenges faced by the SeattleAV in managing their Ecommerce store and CRM needs included struggling to manage multiple systems for Ecommerce store and CRM needs, accommodating the existing system (Avsight) to work in sync with the B2B store, and needing the ability to Quote/Back Order while placing the Order. Additionally, as a B2B business, they needed a solution to bulk order products using CSV or Excel files, and have Avsight condition code wise pricing on the store. They also needed to sell the same product as new as well as renew (old) with ease of user experience.

HOW DID THE INTEGRATION BETWEEN SALESFORCE COMMERCE CLOUD AND AVSIGHT ERP PROVIDE BENEFICIAL RESULTS?

The connection of Avsight’s ERP data with Salesforce B2B Commerce Products and Orders was beneficial for the SeattleAV in several ways. It allowed SeattleAV to have their leading Management Software communicate with the StoreFront in real time. This real-time communication streamlined the processes and made the system more robust and powerful. Additionally, it facilitated custom-developed features according to business needs, such as bulk order, back order, related products, and replacement product purchase, further enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the system.

The client achieved a 25% increase in ROI by consolidating all data into a single platform, eliminating the need for manual syncing and reducing errors and resource expenditure. Dynamic dashboards facilitated crucial business decisions.
